2010
Made and installed 2 bronzes of the Sisulu Maquette for the Johannesburg Local Metro Council’s Mayor’s offices
Made a life size bronze of Mr Amos Masondo, the current mayor of Johannesburg

2009
Made and Installed the  monument to Walter and Albertina Sisulu in Newtown , Johannesburg

2008
In May I embarked on the project of making a large scale sculpture for the PPC cement awards.
It took me 3 months to sculpt a large head around a wire armature in Plaster of Paris,make a mould and cast it in cement

2003 - 2008
Started a new range of ceramic ornaments aimed at the local interior and tourist market. Shapes inspired by local elements and people.
Have attended trade shows such as Decorex and the Design Indaba.

2005 – 2008
Opened a private Sculpture teaching studio, where I introduce students to modelling in clay, the making of moulds ,casting in Cement Fondue and other materials .

1990 – 2008        Marina Walsh Designs
As a freelance Stylist: have worked successfully with most top photographers in Johannesburg, such as Mervelene van der Merwe, Michael Meyersfeld, David Prior, Shahn Rowe, to name  but a few.

1986 – 1994        Marina Walsh Designs CC
Designing and manufacturing ceramic ornaments for the local and international  markets. Attended trade shows and supplied  retail stores throughout the country. Employed five members of staff for seven years.
