Staying true to her ceramic design roots, Marina has been designing and manufacturing exclusive ranges and original, sculptural ceramic ornaments and objet d’art, for the local South African and international markets, in excess of 30 years.
Her designs combine her heritage with a universal aesthetic. Classic lines tame wild animals and polished skin artfully depicts portraits of pride and poise. Simplicity provides clarity and vivid colour renders impact.
Marina has marketed her designs extensively at local and international trade shows. She has exhibited at Design Indaba (Cape Town, South Africa) five times, Decorex (Johannesburg, South Africa) for seven years running and several times at 100% Design (Johannesburg, South Africa).
She was honoured to be included with other esteemed exhibitors at Ambiente (Frankfurt, Germany) in 2011, the Big 5 (Dubai, UAE), Maison et Objet (Paris, France) in 2018 and Springfair (Birmingham, England) 2020.
Marina has supplied exclusive ranges to top interior designers such as : Julian Smith of Julian Décor and Lampsonline, DNX Interiors owned by
Donald Nxumalo and Il Lusso .
She supplies stores such as Begin with the End in Mind, Weylandts and Isabelina. Her works can be seen in exclusive game lodges such as
Phinda and Palala .
Marina collaborated with Julia Day owner of Generation Furniture and
Julia Day Interiors on a unique range, for her winning stand at Rooms on View in 2019.
